Windows on a Mac may be easily resized by clicking and dragging the edge. However, you might still have several windows floating about. Your spreadsheet is gone once you open a Word document. Your email is then obscured by your browser window.
How to Activate the Mac’s Split-Screen Mode
Each Mac window has three buttons in the upper left corner: red, yellow, and green. Arrows show up when you mouse over the green button. This can be clicked to either fully or partially enlarge the window.
Additionally, the green button is your pass to split-screen mode:
1. Press the green button while holding it. Your window will enlarge a little bit. The split screen mode is now accessible.
2. When you stop clicking, your window will reposition itself to the left side of your screen or monitor.
3. The other windows you have open show up on the right side of your screen. To view it, click the one you want.
Choose the second window from the windows on RL after selecting the first window on L, as shown.
Once the left is configured, choose your second split-screen window from the right.
4. The second window will appear on your screen, to the right. Simply drag either window to the opposite side from the menu bar of either window if you want to change sides.
