The current season of Fortnite (Season 7) has been considerably delayed compared to previous seasons, as we highlighted in our previous Fortnite post. Nevertheless, it seems as though everything is back on track with the August 10 release of 17.30. Before moving on to Chapter 3, there will probably be another patch or update because we are still in Chapter 2 for around another month. As new information becomes available, we will keep you informed.
The main points of the most recent upgrade are covered by that. We’ll make sure to keep you informed about all the most recent Fortnite news, including stories like this one: Fortnite is getting Superman!
Players now have access to a new weapon that fits the season’s theme of outer space. The “Grab-Itron” gun is comparable to the “tractor-beam” used in science fiction films like Star Trek and Star Wars and in popular culture’s perception of UFOs.
The Grab-Itron draws things toward the user, where they can be held and moved before being thrown, for instance, towards an adversary. The size, composition, and speed of the object determine how much damage it will cause if it collides with the target. This weapon’s use can also be defensive, as the user can deflect opposing fire by holding an object in front of them (although all objects can only tolerate some amount of damage before they are destroyed).
The Grab-strategic Itron’s potential is undeniably considerable because the user is even able to deflect incoming projectiles back at the person who fired them. This weapon can be discovered inside the alien Mothership as well as on abductors and chests. The aliens have started to sketch up portions of the Slurpy Swamp with their tractor beams as they target specific POIs (points-of-interest) on the map.
Players can interact with the low-gravity environment and leap to and from chunks of material that the aliens are suckling up when they enter this section. Being able to move fast and deftly in this environment will give the player an advantage over their opponents while failing to do so will place them at a disadvantage. It seems like more and more of the Slurpy Swamp region will eventually be beamed up by the aliens, so you should visit the area frequently to watch how things develop.
Additionally, Team Brawl now has a new Limited Time Mode (LTM). After a defeat, players will fall to the ground at terminal velocity (the fastest an object can fall) rather than gently skydiving to the fight field, making sure that they may rejoin the game as soon as feasible. A new loadout will also be assigned to each player when they respawn. In order to win the match in this mode, each team must race to reach 60 eliminations before the opposing team.
This option will also keep things interesting by allowing a team to observe the players on the opposing team through walls if they are struggling to defeat an overwhelming team. When the weaker team catches up to the team ahead in the score, the bonus will expire.
This update has also repaired a few problems, including one that prevented the PS5’s 3D headphones option from functioning properly, as well as a few that affected automobiles and caused the radio to malfunction or drive erratically. Additionally, there have been a few minor balance adjustments, such as an increase in damage for the Pulse Rifle when aiming down sights and an increase in damage but a decrease in fire rate for the Heavy Assault Rifle.
