The next major update for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – New State will include a brand-new map. In a recent article, publisher Krafton stated that the mobile version of the famous battle royale shooting game would be receiving a new map in the middle of 2022. Although the release of this update is still far off, Krafton has released three new screenshots that give players a taste of what’s to come.
The new map looks like a terrain that is part hills, part plains and has a lot of cities and buildings. Images imply the new landscape will look and feel like the default Troi map in PUBG: New State, which is futuristic and post-apocalyptic.

Updates for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – New State will arrive in the first half of 2022. The game only came out in India in November of last year, so it has a ways to go until it’s as polished as PUBG Mobile, which came out in 2017.
To “meet and surpass your expectations both on and off the Battlegrounds,” Krafton wrote in a recent article, “one of our greatest focuses in 2022 is to continue delivering upgrades and enhancements.”
We also want to make sure that all of our global Survivors get the finest service and gaming experience possible, no matter where they are or what device they use. Our goal is to work closely with the community and improve the Battlegrounds by sharing information and listening to feedback from all of our Survivors.
