M.A.R, a rap artist from Bridgeport,Connecticut, is without a doubt the next to blow from the North East region. M.A.R’s hard work and dedication began in 2010. He performed at the legendary Toad’s Place in New Haven, Connecticut at a Hip Hop Showcase. From there he was off and running. He performed at the iconic Webster Hall. He also won the Roc Nation showcase sponsored by Indie Elite Promotions . Next he headlined concerts at The Space in Hamden attracting a sold-out crowd. Shortly after that, he participated in a tournament hosted by 50 Mics, Def Jam, XXL, and The Source.
He was crowned the Connecticut 50 Mics Champion and was awarded the prize Digiwaxx package. Digiwaxx also released his page to DJ’s all over the world. M.A.R also orchestrated and headlined his own Indie tour “The LightUppp tour” consisting of twelve cities within the northern region alongside Def Jam signee Dave East. This was followed by an eleven city tour with Chris Webby, where he performed to sold-out crowds. M.A.R has also opened for acts such as four time Grammy nominated artist 2 Chainzs at the Harbor Yard Arena and Lupe Fiasco at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Most recently, he was a guest artist on 105.1fm with Dj Emez he has performed at the Barclays, Foxwoods Casino, and Atlantic City as a featured artist for the Ruff Ryders reunion show. M.A.R has been featured on a very pivotal amount of media publications. Recently he has been featured in publications such as Respect Magazine, Atlanta Bangerz, Unsigned Heat, The Source, Elevator, Triple HQ and many more ! M.A.R and his music journey continues to thrive and without a doubt he will be a pivotal player in the music industry who makes a significant mark.

2016 – opened for Dave East tour – 12 cities 2017 – opened for Chris Webby tour – 11 cities
2017 – performed at the Mohegan Sun Arena, Barclays, Foxwoods and Atlantic City opening for Ruff Ryder’s reunion tour to sold out crowds upwards of 10k.
2018 – toured with Big Heff of Def Jam – 16 cities, with heavy media coverage.
2019 – performed at Foxwoods for Welterweight Champion Jimmy Williams, Toads Place in CT, toured with Big Heff of Def Jam, and has spot dates lined up in support of his new single “Money Uppp” summer of 2019.
Known as Mr. Lightuppp for blazing the stage. Hot 93.7 FM crowned him as the next one up to make noise out of Connecticut. He is charismatic, energetic on stage, and mastered the art of converting fans when he opens for other artists. He is very positive, easy to work with, and a pleasure to be around.
Known in CT as the Hook Master, he has features with J.R Writer, formerly of Dipset called “Grinding”, which received over 131,000 views on YouTube. M.A.R recently released “Martin Luther Blvd” (MLB) in June 2018, and the song has received rave reviews from “Big Heff” and Bob Celestin, to name a few.
