A Tense Encounter for Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Lord John Grey (David Berry) in “Carnal Knowledge”
The latest installment of Outlander wrapped up with a dramatic twist revealing that Jamie (Sam Heughan) had survived a shipwreck, contrary to what everyone believed. While fans likely didn’t buy into Jamie’s demise, the false news had significant ramifications. His wife, Claire (Caitriona Balfe), now finds herself married to Jamie’s ally, the British Loyalist Lord John Grey (David Berry). Furthermore, Jamie’s unexpected return inadvertently exposes the true heritage of William Ransom (Charles Vandervaart), sparking a pursuit by the British forces. A sneak peek from the next episode gives us a glimpse of the fallout from his astonishing comeback.
In the upcoming 12th episode of season seven, Lord John is visibly perturbed after Jamie abruptly abducts him from his residence, believing Jamie could have employed more tactful methods given his revolutionary background. “Even foxes grow old,” Jamie remarks, acknowledging their aging strategies. Now, the pair must evade the British troops, with Jamie determined to protect Lord John’s reputation as a Loyalist at all costs.
The episode “Carnal Knowledge” is set to air on December 13. The exclusive clip from this episode is available for viewing below.
