The Revival of The Sinking City

As April begins, exciting news surfaces from Frogwares, the Ukrainian studio behind The Sinking City. Amidst a successful crowdfunding campaign for a sequel, the studio announces a remastered version of the original game using Unreal Engine 5. Revealed on their Kickstarter page, which has already garnered four times the requested funds, the remaster promises enhanced graphics, additional levels of detail, a photo mode, and several other improvements. This announcement comes just days before their crowdfunding campaign concludes, sparking enthusiasm among fans of the franchise.

Currently, Eidos-Montréal serves as a supporting studio for the upcoming Fable game, developed by Playground Games, marking a continued yet changing presence in the gaming industry.

This milestone, unmatched by any previous Capcom game, arrives just in time to celebrate the game’s first major free update, set to release this Friday. With the success of Wilds, the Monster Hunter franchise’s sales have soared to 108 million, further cementing its popularity and impact in the gaming world.
