Bryan Fuller, Creator of Pushing Daisies, Has Plans and a Cast Ready for Season Three
Bryan Fuller, the mind behind Pushing Daisies, isn’t quite ready to say goodbye to the show, despite its cancellation years ago. He remains hopeful that the series, which originally aired during the terms of President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama, will see a third season. The show, featuring Lee Pace as Ned, a pie-maker with the unique power to bring the dead back to life with a simple touch, has garnered a dedicated cult following. This following is similar to those of Fuller’s other projects, such as Hannibal, American Gods, and Dead Like Me. In a recent chat with ComicBook.com, Fuller expressed a clear desire to continue the story, stating, “We absolutely want to do another season. We have a season three pitch ready, and the entire cast is on board to return. Now, we just need to find a financial backer.”
In Pushing Daisies, Lee Pace plays Ned, who is not only a gifted baker and owner of the Pie Hole but also possesses the precarious ability to end life or restore it through his touch. The question looms: if Lee Pace can bring back characters from the dead on screen, why hasn’t he managed to revive Halt And Catch Fire, another series he starred in?
