What’s New 

Stranger Things (Netflix, Wednesday, 3 a.m., season five premiere)

Join Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Hopper (David Harbor), Mike (Finn Wolffhard), and the rest of the Hawkins crew as they dive back into the Upside Down to confront the formidable Vecna. In typical Netflix fashion, the final season of Stranger Things will be released in three parts: four episodes on November 26, three episodes on December 25, and the climactic finale on New Year’s Eve. Expect recaps from The A.V. Club on Wednesday and Thursday.

Blossoms Shanghai (The Criterion Channel, Monday, 8 p.m., season one premiere)

U.S. fans of Wong Kar-wai can now enjoy the director’s first foray into television, inspired by Jin Yucheng’s 2013 novel Blossoms. This 30-episode series charts the rise of Ah Bao (Hu Ge), a self-made millionaire in 1990s Shanghai, reminiscent of a Gatsby-like figure. Look for The A.V. Club’s review on Monday.

The Beatles Anthology (Disney+, Wednesday, 3 a.m.)

This refreshed version of the iconic Beatles documentary series, originally released thirty years ago, features restored and enhanced content, including a new episode with never-before-seen footage of Paul, George, and Ringo working together in the ’90s on this project.

The Artist (The Network, Thursday, 3 a.m., part one premiere)

Imagine Knives Out with a heavy dose of theatrical flair. Mandy Patinkin heads an all-star cast, including Patti LuPone, Janet McTeer, Hank Azaria, Katharine McPhee, and Zachary Quinto, in a murder mystery set on a lavish Gilded Age estate. The first three episodes premiere on November 27, with another three following on December 25.

Everybody Loves Raymond 30th Anniversary Reunion (CBS and Paramount+, Monday, 8 p.m.)

The Barone family reunites as Ray Romano, series creator Phil Rosenthal, and co-stars Patricia Heaton, Brad Garrett, Monica Horan, Madylin Sweeten, and Sullivan Sweeten come together for a 90-minute special celebrating the beloved sitcom.
