The Last Frontier (Apple TV+, Friday, 12:01 a.m.)
From the creative mind behind The Blacklist, Jon Bokenkamp, comes The Last Frontier. This series is set in a remote town in Alaska which spirals into disorder after a plane carrying prisoners crashes. U.S. Marshal Frank Remnick (Jason Clarke) is charged with capturing the fugitives and soon realizes the crash was intentional. Starring Miles Heizer (13 Reasons Why), this coming-of-age dramedy follows a closeted young man who enlists in the Marines alongside his best friend (Liam Oh) during the early ’90s, a time when being openly gay in the military was forbidden. The show explores their paths to self-acceptance and personal truth.
