Although this incident has not been directly linked to any security failure by HSE, it raises concerns about overall safety standards on set. It’s relatively rare for HSE to be so involved with a television series; in fact, only four other productions have received formal notices in the past four years.
Despite these setbacks, by April, the “Tomb Raider” team had reportedly addressed the critical issues, earning an “improvement notice” from HSE. This suggests that necessary changes were made to align with safety regulations, hopefully paving the way for a smoother continuation of the series’ production.
