Elle Fanning Tops an All-Star Cast in Margo’s Got Money Troubles, Debuting on Apple TV in April 2026.
In the upcoming Apple TV series by David E. Kelley, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, money might be tight, but star power certainly isn’t. Elle Fanning returns to the small screen after The Great was discontinued, portraying Margo, the main character struggling with her finances. The series features a stellar ensemble including Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman, Nick Offerman, Marcia Gay Harden, and Greg Kinnear. This new project from A24 for Apple TV follows Kelley’s successful mystery series Presumed Innocent, and introduces a lighter, comedic tone. The storyline revolves around Margo, who after having an affair with her professor and becoming pregnant, leverages her estranged father’s (played by Offerman) wrestling skills to earn big on OnlyFans.
Here’s what to expect:
Margo’s Got Money Troubles is a fresh, touching, and humorous family drama centered around Margo (played by Fanning), a recent college dropout and hopeful writer. She is the daughter of a former Hooters waitress (played by Pfeiffer) and a retired professional wrestler. Now, faced with a new baby, escalating bills, and limited financial resources, Margo must navigate her challenging situation.
Adapted from Rufi Thorpe’s bestselling novel, the first season of Margo’s Got Money Troubles will premiere on April 15, 2026, offering three episodes initially, followed by two new episodes released every Wednesday until May 20.
