The biggies

The Beast In Me (Netflix, Thursday, 3:01 a.m.)

This suspenseful series, crafted by Gabe Rotter (X-Files) and Howard Gordon (Homeland), features Claire Danes as an introverted writer mourning her child. She becomes obsessed with a real estate tycoon (played by Matthew Rhys), who is suspected of murdering his missing wife. Their interaction evolves into a perilous game of deception. The cast also includes Brittany Snow, Natalie Morales, Jonathan Banks, and David Lyons. Expect a review from The A.V. Club on Thursday.

Malice (Prime Video, Friday, 3:01 a.m.)

In this British psychological drama, Malice tells the story of Adam Healey (Jack Whitehall) who worms his way into a wealthy family’s holiday in Greece and subsequently becomes their nanny in London. Adam’s intentions are anything but pure as he plots against the Tanner family, headed by Jamie (David Duchovny) and Nat (Carice Van Houten). Look for The A.V. Club‘s review on Friday.

Also airing
