Last month, YouTube introduced a significant improvement for the community of creators: the capability to alter the channel name and profile without having an impact on their Google account. Changes to the channel name had previously been reflected in your other Google services, such as Gmail. Read on to learn how to rename your YouTube channel without having to rename your Google account, but be aware that there is some risk.
In essence, producers are now able to maintain a single Google account while maintaining distinct identities on Gmail, YouTube, and other platforms. It also eliminates the need of obtaining a new Gmail ID in order to own a new channel name.
The YouTube change does come with a warning, however: creators risk losing the verification emblem (if confirmed) that appears next to the channel name. However, this does not preclude creators from reapplying and obtaining the verification badge.
How to Rename Your YouTube Channel without Renaming Your Google Account

On a smartphone or other mobile device
Step1: Open the YouTube app on your phone. Click on your profile picture here.
Step:2 Go to Your channel in step two. after that, visit the Edit channel.
Step 3: This is where you can change or add a name. making the adjustments. To save, press OK.
Step 4: Tap the image to change your profile picture. You can now upload an existing image from your device or click a new photo. After uploading, click Save your computer
On Your Pc
Step 1. Open YouTube Studio to utilize your account to log in.
Step 2: On the left menu, select Customization. Decide on Basic Info.
Step 3: To change or add a new channel name, click Edit. Press Publish to save changes.
Step 4: Select Customization from the top left menu to change your profile photo.
Choose Branding > Upload in step 5 and then add a new image. Adapt the image to your preferences. To save the changes, press publish.
