2. Singing is a hobby of mine.
The young Willie began singing at the age of three. Because he and his family are so close, he would go to church with his grandfather and sing with him. That’s when he first felt the urge to start singing. When he was just 6 years old, he sang “Amazing Grace” in the same church in Florida.
3. A Tragedy of Birth
Willie’s mother was 38 years old when she became pregnant with him, according to sources. At the time, she had no desire to become a mother. However, he was born. Tragically, his father had just cut the umbilical cord at the hospital when the incident occurred. Soon later, his heart ceased beating. The physicians performed a miracle and saved his life.

4. Music Release Fundraiser
As of March of last year, Willie had begun an official campaign in order to realize his desire of recording and publish his own music album.

5. Released a Self-Penned Song
After he garnered worldwide acclaim, he resolved to record and distribute his own song, and he accomplished just that.
On January 1, 2020, he released “Champion,” his first single. His debut song, “So Gone,” tells the story of a boy who is completely smitten with his girlfriend. ‘Young couple’ is played by Famous Ocean and Luh Kel in the music video, which was released in the middle of January.
6. Medications and Health Issues
When Spence felt discomfort in his chest, he sought medical attention. After the “Diamond” video went viral, this is what happened. Once his condition was diagnosed, the doctors said it was unlikely that he would make it.
That, however, did not deter him. As a result, this became the driving force behind his efforts.
7. Loss of Pounds and Inches
When the fluid in Willie’s lungs was discovered, he weighed roughly 600 pounds. He had to shed a significant amount of weight in order to go forward in the direction of achieving his goals.
Approximately 200 pounds of Willie’s weight had been dropped prior to his appearance at the American Idol auditions.
“My eating was a significant part of it,” he said in an interview. Now that I’ve hired a coach, I feel much better about myself. Improved: I’m on the road to recovery now. I’m out of fluid. I’m just trying to stay fit and pay attention. I won’t be able to sing unless I’m in good health.”
