Netflix has had profiles for a long time, and it also offers a section devoted to family-friendly programming. However, with the most recent update, the streaming service is offering parents and guardians even more power. Netflix is adding a slew of new parental controls, according to The Verge, which cites Netflix’s new parental controls. Among the nicest aspects of the news is that Netflix’s new features will be available to all users, not just those in the children’s area.
Parents and/or guardians will now be able to remove TV episodes and films by their titles, thanks to the corporation. Parents can choose not to have certain movies appear in their children’s profiles if they don’t want them to, such as Blood Diamond, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Djimon Hounsou. As a result of this improved search filter, you will also be able to remove titles by rating. So if a parent prefers to see only G-rated content, they can do so.
