New Lg Gaming Monitor Delivers Fast and Responsive 240 Hz Refresh Rate

LG, a major player in the tech industry, has just launched a new gaming monitor that is jam-packed with features designed to improve responsiveness and immersion.

The OLED technology utilized by the LG UltraGear 45GR95QE allows for incredibly quick response times. The unique feature of this screen is its 240 Hz refresh rate, which further reduces response times to almost zero. According to the manufacturer, this is the first curved OLED screen to feature a refresh rate of this kind.

Both flat and curved OLED screens have the same maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. Serious gamers want displays with higher refresh rates because they provide a more responsive gaming experience and minimize input lag.

It appears that LG has beaten competitors like Corsair, MSI, and Razer to the market with their 240Hz OLED screens.

LG’s 45-inch curved gaming display is equipped with more than just a fast refresh rate. The specifications of the 45GR95QE are as follows: 21:9 aspect ratio, WQHD resolution, 800R curvature, 0.1 ms gray-to-gray response time, and 98.5 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.

This latest UltraGear addition supports picture-by-picture (PBP) and picture-in-picture (PIP) modes without wasting screen real estate on unnecessary borders. As for connectivity, you can take your pick from two HDMI 2.1 inputs, a DisplayPort, three USB 3.0 ports, and a headphone jack.

LG has not yet announced pricing or availability but has stated that they will do so at the IFA show in Berlin next month.
