The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) stated that numerous security flaws have been found in Mozilla products in the most recent upgrade.

Warning for Mozilla Firefox Users
All Mozilla Firefox versions up through the most recent Firefox 98 update were found to be affected by these security flaws, according to the security agency.
Additionally, Mozilla Firefox Spirit versions before 91.7 and Mozilla Firefox ESR versions prior to 91.7 also have the same security flaws.
Use-after-free in-text reflows and thread termination, a time-of-check time-of-use bug when verifying add-on signatures, a mistake when controlling the
contents of an iframe sandboxed with allow-popups but not allow-scripts, memory safety bugs among the browser engine, the downloading of temporary files
to /tmp and making them accessible to other native users, side-channel attacks on the text and browser window
CERT provides more information on how hackers might use the security holes.
“A remote attacker might exploit these vulnerabilities by persuading a victim to go to a specially designed link or computing device,” the politician who made
the aforementioned statement said. Unchecked usage of those flaws might enable a remote attacker to get around security measures, launch spoofing attacks,
run arbitrary code, obtain sensitive information, and launch denial-of-service attacks on the targeted system.
Affected users are urged to update their Mozilla Firefox immediately to version 90.8, 91.7 for Firefox ESR, and 91.7 for Spirit.

How to Update the Mozilla Firefox Browser
