The Microsoft Launch Event has concluded. Microsoft unveils two new Surface computers, the Surface Pro 9 and Surface Laptop 5. There are new colours for the Surface Pro Signature Keyboards (Sapphire and Forest) and improved cameras and speakers in Surface Pro 9. At the same time, the Surface Laptop 5 is driven by the new interactive capabilities of Windows 11.

Starting at $999 (or approximately Rs 82,200), the Microsoft Surface Pro 9 is a powerful and versatile laptop.
In comparison, the Surface Studio 2+ can be had for Rs 4,299 (about $999) while the Surface Laptop 5 starts at $999 (approximately (roughly Rs 3,53,800).

There are two processor options available: a 12th-generation Intel Core CPU on the Thunderbolt 3-equipped Intel Evo platform, or the Qualcomm Snapdragon-driven Microsoft SQ, both of which support 5G speeds.
The Surface Pro 9 has better cameras and speakers, a longer battery life, and two new colour options for the Surface Pro Signature Keyboard: Sapphire and Forest. In honour of Surface’s 10-year anniversary, a special edition design was created in tandem with Liberty of London and a matching keyboard was released.
The Microsoft SQ 3 powered version may accommodate as much as 512TB of SSD storage and 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The alternative model features a CPU (up to) and GPU (with) that are both from Intel’s Iris Xe and 12th Generation Core i7 series. Up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of SSD storage are available in this variant.
The 13-inch display on the Microsoft Surface Pro 9 has a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels, is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, and can refresh at a rate of 120 hertz. Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6e are available for wireless connection. Both models have a USB-C 3.2 port, a Surface Connect port, and a standard PS/2 keyboard port. More than one nano SIM can be used on the 5G variant.

It’s the Fifth-Generation Surface Laptop from Microsoft
There are two screen sizes available on the Surface Laptop 5. The standard model has a 13.5-inch display with a resolution of 2256×1504, while the premium variant has a 15-inch display with a resolution of 2496×1664.
It has an HD camera, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.1, as well as Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers. A USB-C port with Thunderbolt 4, a single USB-A port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are all available as ports.
In terms of hardware, the Surface Laptop 5 features a maximum of a 12th-generation Intel Core i7-1255U processor, 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM, an Iris Xe graphics processing unit, and a 1TB removabe solid-state drive.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 comes in four different colours, including Platinum with Alcantara, Sage, Matte Black, and Sandstone, but only for the base model. The Platinum and Matte Black coating is exclusive to the 15-inch model.
