Photos and videos that you’ve hidden are moved to the Hidden album and removed from the Library, other albums, and the Photos widget on the Home Screen. If you’re using iOS 14 or later, you’ll find a switch labelled “Hidden” that will entirely conceal your images. As of iOS 16 and iPad OS 16.1, as well as macOS Ventura and later, your Hidden album will be protected by a password.

To view albums, launch Photos. To access your albums on an iPad, you may need to hit the sidebar symbol in the upper left corner.

- To disable Hidden Album, you must go into the settings.
- The Hidden album can be viewed and accessed without any further action on an iPhone or iPad. If you disable the Hidden album, the Photos app will no longer display your concealed images and video.

Authenticate that You Really Wish to Keep the Media Secret
