Apple’s small true wireless earbuds are an essential part of your day-to-day carry, whether you use them to listen to music on the subway or take Zoom conversations without disturbing those around you. The headphones pair quickly with any iOS device, have a wealth of controls, produce high-quality sound, and provide a fantastic method of communicating with Siri, all at a reasonable price.
However, unlike other headphones, the battery life of your AirPods cannot be determined by just tapping on the buds a few times. However, there are a variety of other options for checking the battery life of your AirPods and their charging case. We’ve included detailed instructions for a number of different methods you can use to determine how much juice is left in your AirPods here.
Charge Status for Air Pods May Be Inspected on I Os Devices
Presumably, if you have a set of AirPods, you also have an iOS device. To see how much juice is left in your AirPods, you may use any iOS device, including an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch.
Use This Technique with Your Air Pods and Their Charging Case
To begin, you’ll need to pair your AirPods with your iOS device if they aren’t already connected. Close the lid on your AirPods case and set it down next to your iOS device.
The second step is to open Bluetooth settings from your iOS device’s main menu. The Bluetooth On/Off Switch is located at the very top of the page. It’s important to make sure this is switched on before moving on.
Third, choose your AirPods from the list of connected Bluetooth devices. When the pairing state of your AirPods goes from Not Connected to Connected, you’ve successfully linked them with your iOS device.
The fourth and final step is to simply remove the cover from your charging carry-all. Your iOS device’s battery percentage will display in the bottom of the screen after a few seconds. The remaining power for both your AirPods and their charging case can be seen in this graph.
In order to see how much juice each AirPod has, step five is to take it out of the charging case and wait a few seconds for the display to update.
Power Status for Air Pods May Be Inspected on A Mac
If you own a Mac, you can use any of your devices (desktop or laptop) to view the remaining battery life of your AirPods. Here is the procedure for doing it.
First, put your AirPods back in their case and snap the cover shut.
The second step is to launch Bluetooth from your Mac’s desktop by clicking its icon in the upper right corner. The insignia can be added to the list of commands with little effort if it isn’t already shown.
All you have to do is head to your computer’s Preferences menu and select Bluetooth from there. Click the box labeled “Show Bluetooth in the Menu Bar” at the page’s bottom to enable the feature.
Third, find your AirPods in the list of connected devices after clicking the Bluetooth icon. Otherwise, check to see whether your AirPods are linked to any other Bluetooth devices. Also, try resetting and re-pairing your AirPods to see if that helps.
Ensure the charging case lid is closed, then press and hold the Setup button on the back of the case until the white indicator light begins blinking.
Find out How Much Juice Is Left in Your Air Pods Case Even if You Don’t Have an I Os Device
The status light on your AirPods case can give you a rough estimate of how much battery life is left for both buds, but it is not as precise as the other methods on this list.
First, make sure your AirPods aren’t in there anymore. You may now remove the cover.
Step 2: Check the charging status light, which may be located on the front or inside of the case. If the charging case’s indicator light is green, it has reached full capacity. If the battery life indicator is on amber, you can only charge your AirPods once more before they run out of juice.
Take Your Air Pods out Of Their Case and See how Much Juice They Have Left
All three methods outlined above necessitate using the AirPods charging case to check the case’s and earbuds’ power levels. However, if you want to see how much juice your AirPods have left but don’t have the case handy, you can get a readout from an iOS device.
First, link your AirPods to your iOS device and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
Two, tap and hold an empty area on your device’s main screen. When the apps begin to jiggle, you’ll be able to begin customising your mobile device’s interface, apps, and widgets.
The third step is to click the plus sign in the upper left corner of the display. Here, you can select from a list of available widgets to customise your device’s home screen. To add batteries, select that option from the drop-down menu, then select the appropriate size widget. When you’re done, click the Add Widget button.
Fourth, once you’ve decided where on your screen your widget should reside, tap the Done button.
Fifth, you can now see the current charge of each AirPod when you open the Batteries widget. Even if your AirPods are already paired with another device, this will still function.
