A Refresher for Fortnite’s Video Chat
If You Want to Bring Video Chat to Fortnite:
Connect to Fortnite through the Houseparty app’s Settings or the TV icon.
As is customary, you can either join your friends already in the group or extend an invitation.
Play Fortnite on a computer or a gaming console.
While you’re playing, don’t stop talking to your buddies. Please ensure your device is in a position to adequately frame your face before using Houseparty.
Houseparty buddies will appear in a side panel in your Fortnite party while you use video chat, allowing you to focus on the game. It’s the ideal method to enjoy the excitement of in-person gaming with a group of people who are thousands of miles apart.

How to Stream Fortnite to A Homeparty
The question is, will Fortnite to Houseparty streaming (as well as Fortnite video chat via Houseparty) be supported on other gaming platforms? If so, what platforms will they be on?
It’s currently only possible to use Houseparty with Fortnite games on PC and PlayStation 4. (PS4 and PS5). As soon as we are able to support more systems, we will notify everyone.
I’d like to know how many people are watching my stream, but I’m not sure how to find out.
At the bottom left of the screen, a small “watcher count” will show how many people from Houseparty are watching. People watching a streaming video appear to have an eye icon in the upper-left corner. Fortnite mode streaming can be turned off at the house party, but how can players do this?

Are They Required to Disable Fortnite Mode
Fortnite Mode broadcasting can be disabled in the privacy settings for players who have enabled it. Gamers have the option to stop sharing their games with other Houseparty members via the Privacy Settings panel. Video chat with pals will still be possible, but they won’t be able to see your gameplay if this option is turned off in Fortnite Mode.
When it comes to their personal information, how can players be sure that it’s not being leaked?
Houseparty won’t be able to see any of your credit card or other payment information. If you interact with the Lobby, your menus, or gameplay while Fortnite Mode streaming is on, those displays will all be streamed.
Players should keep their screen time to a minimum when using any live streaming platform, including Twitch. However, despite the fact that Fortnite Mode broadcasting is only available to gamers and up to nine other people rather than the whole internet, all players should be aware of the dangers of exposing personal information on social media.
