Henry Cavill says ‘everything is in the bag regarding the possibility of him playing James Bond in the iconic franchise following the departure of Daniel Craig.
Cavill who was expected to portray Bond from the beginning in 2005, but was unable to take the part to Craig who was the first choice, told The Sunday Times, “Time will tell,” when asked if he would be willing to reprise the role time.
“You don’t know which direction they want to take Bond in and so I like to say that everything’s always on the table,” he said.
The Witcherstar has also discussed some of the parallels in Bond and his forthcoming part in the spy film Argylle noting that it is ‘up to the viewer on the similarities between them.
“We might be discussing Daniel’s Bond or whatever they think the next Bond could be… They’ll likely have been in the 30s, 40s, or the early 40s. Perhaps they’ll be younger, as they did together with me when it came all down between me and Daniel,” he said.
