Now that the release date for the upcoming installment of God of War has been confirmed, fans can finally celebrate.
The release date for God of War Ragnarök was announced by the game’s creator Sony Santa Monica on Wednesday. Both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 can
use this release. The creators also unveiled a fresh cinematic trailer for fans to view as part of the release date announcement. The makers claimed that while
the clip did not show any actual gameplay, it did include some potential plot points.
This is the deadline that Sony Santa Monica will aim to meet, however, there may still be a delay between now and November. They probably held off on
announcing a release date since they weren’t sure they’d be able to finish it by the end of 2022. They appear certain they can after making this announcement.
Fans should nevertheless moderate their expectations a little because it’s becoming less common for a AAA game to release on schedule.
God of War Ragnarök, at least from the cinematic teaser, appears to be in excellent condition. The landscape appears lethal, the character models are sharp,
and the graphics are stunning. Ragnarök will undoubtedly look substantially different in its entirety, but if the God of War remake in 2018 is any indicator, it
should be a contender for game of the year.

If you don’t need the clutter, you could opt for the standard or digital deluxe versions instead — the latter comes with in-game items and various nonphysical extras.
