FAU-G: Fearless and United Guards has finally made its way to the Apple App Store and is now available for download on iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. The game was originally launched for Android users on January 26, 2020, and its developer nCore Games had said at the time that an iOS version was in the works. FAU-G is largely seen as an Indian rival take on the popular PUBG Mobile game, which has been banned in India, though the company has denied the game is a response to the latter.
An Indian-made game has replaced PUBG after the latter was banned from Indian shores. Downloaders can now get their hands on the brand-new Indian title, FAUG. For now, many players want to know how to get FAUG on their computers. So here are all the facts and figures about it.
In terms of size, the app is approximately 567.2 Mb and requires iOS 10 or later. The privacy nutrition label on the App Store reveals that FAU-G collects data on purchases, user content, usage data, contact information, and diagnostics, among other things. It is based on usage data that is used to identify and monitor users. Even though it features in-app purchases, FAUG is available for free on iOS as well.
While FAU-G had soon crossed 5 million downloads on Android after its launch, it did not get such good reviews as many of the users found the game linear and boring. Galway Valley is the setting for the latest episode of FAU-G based on the 2020 Indian-Chinese military battle.
- FAU-G is now available for iOS users.
- The game was only available for Android users since its global launch earlier this year.
- iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices running iOS 10.0 and later can download FAUG.
After two months after the launch of the Indian mobile game Fearless and United Guards (FAU-G), it is now available to download on the Apple store for iPhone users across India. Till now, the game was available for Android users only.
nCORE Games, the parent company of the FAU-G mobile game, with their official Twitter handle announced the availability of the game’s application on the Apple store.
FAU-G Deathmatch mode
FAU-G’s lack of game modes has been a point of criticism and the company is planning to bring a multiplayer Team Deathmatch mode. Recently, Bollywood actor and FAU-G brand ambassador Akshay Kumar posted on Twitter and announced the upcoming feature.
The game’s characters equipped with different types of guns including handheld pistols, and assault rifles can be seen in the trailer. Given such modes are popular in shooting games such as PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile, it was much needed on FAU-G as well.

It also looks like unlike the single-player mode, where players cannot use guns, the Deathmatch mode will support this feature. The game is expected to bring a five versus five modes. Getting killed by an opponent would respawn you back to the spawn zone on the map, according to earlier reports. The company is yet to confirm when this mode will launch.
The tweet quotes:
“FAU-G is now available on iOS! Experience the tales of Galway valley like never before on your iPhone. Download now from the Apple app store. #FAUG #atmanirbharbharat @vishalgondal @akshaykumar @dayanidhimg @BharatKeVeer”.
FAUG game compatibility:
The FAUG game application is roughly 643 MB in size. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices that are running on iOS 10.0 or later. While the game itself is free to download, you can make in-app purchases for digital coins. 30 coins, for example, are priced at Rs 89, while 4800 coins will cost you Rs 3,599.
FAU-G is also said to add modes like battle royale as well as guns and other weapons on board as it does not come with any weapon in the current version. The storyline of the first episode revolves around the Galway Valley incident, where the player or the Indian soldier fights the opponents or the Chinese army to save the country.
FAU-G is currently available in three languages, including English, Hindi, and Tamil. As per the company, it will also look to add support for more languages in the coming months.
At present, the game is optimized for mid-range and high-end smartphones, but the developers say that they are working on a lite version of the game, which will run optimally on budget smartphones as well.
