Techkrest addresses copyright issues in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). The DMCA’s Section 512 outlines the formal reporting requirements for copyright infringement and provides instructions on how an affected party can protest a removal by writing a compliant counter-notice.
Techkrest will respond to reports of alleged copyright infringement, including claims that a copyrighted image was used without permission as a profile or header photo, claims that a copyrighted video or image was uploaded through our media hosting services, and claims that allegedly infringing content was used without authorization.
It should be understood that not all unlawful uses of copyrighted works constitute infringements (see our fair use article for more information).
If you have any issues regarding the use of your company’s or brand’s name, please review Techkrest’s trademark policy. If you are worried about a parody, newsfeed, commentary, or fan account, please refer to the relevant policy here. These typically exclude copyright.
