iOS 15.4.1, a brand-new iPhone update, was recently released. Following iOS 15.4, this minor update addresses two critical issues: a battery-draining bug and a
a security hole that Apple claims “may have been actively exploited” on some devices.
The feature-rich iOS 15.4 updates were previously released by Apple for its mobile users. With the upgrade, users could now unlock their iPhones while
wearing masks and integrate Live Text, among other capabilities. However, other consumers said that after updating to the newest version, their iPhones’
batteries began to deplete quickly. The Cupertino-based business has just released a small-but-vital update to address the problem. For the iPhones and iPods,
iOS 15.4.1 and iPadOS 15.4.1 have been released. The upgrades are accessible over the air in the Settings app on all compatible devices. It is available for free
download. To access the new software update, users should go to Settings > General > Software Update.
The problem that caused faster battery draining after updating to iOS 15.4 has been fixed, according to the update’s release notes. The update also includes a
fix for Made for iPhone Braille and hearing aids.

Even if your battery has been functioning properly, it can still be worthwhile to update very soon. Apple says that iOS 15.4.1 (and macOS Monterey 12.3.1, also
released today) contain security fixes for issues that Apple says could’ve been exploited in the wild.
Although delaying updates forever has never been a good idea, it seems it’s more crucial than ever to make sure your devices are running the most recent
version of their OS. Unfortunately, this type of warning has unfortunately become fairly typical in Apple’s security advisories.
Go to Settings > General > Software Upgrade to update your iPhone. Go to System Preferences > Software Update to update your Mac.
